In addition, Gao Yan emphasized that economic globalization is the general trend. Although the current economic globalization is confronted with counter-current and turning back waves, and protectionism and unilateralism are on the rise, no force can stop the rolling wheel of historical progress.

Gao Yan, President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade:The business community is not an "outsider" in global economic governance, but a witness, participant and practitioner. I hope that everyone will continue to carry forward the entrepreneurial spirit, make good use of multilateral platforms such as APEC and G20, as well as the RCEP agreements that have been signed, and strive to resolve the imbalance of regional development and make the global economic governance system more open, inclusive, inclusive, balanced and win-win.
In addition, Wang Shouwen, Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy Representative of International Trade Negotiations, said that although globalization has been blocked in the past two years, there is still a bright future for APEC cooperation.

The number of regional trade arrangements in which APEC economies participate has also increased eightfold.

Wang Shouwen, Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy Representative of International Trade Negotiations:Although globalization has been blocked in the past two years, there is still a bright future for APEC cooperation. According to reports, the new vision document reaffirms APEC’s support for the multilateral trading system and the WTO. China, together with other economies, will take practical actions to support the multilateral trading system under the APEC framework. Wang Shouwen, Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy Representative of International Trade Negotiations:China will work with other economies to narrow the regional digital divide, oppose the abuse of state power to suppress scientific and technological enterprises, strengthen confidence in the development of the digital economy, and create a new growth point for the Asia-Pacific economy.
